HOW TO CREATE AN AWS ACCOUNT
Introduction
AWS is a cloud computing technology company that provides services to help businesses use the internet to store, process and analyze data. Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers more than 60 different services including S3 storage, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), EC2 Container Service (ECS), Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Route 53 DNS service, Simple Storage Service (S3) and Redshift—to name a few.
Click on 'Create a Free Account'.
To create an AWS account, simply click on the link below. If you have not yet created a login for your account and have no idea how to do so, see the section above titled “Sign up for a new account using this tool”.
You will be directed to a page where you can enter your details. A message will be sent via SMS (text) or phone call from AWS asking if everything is correct and then confirming that it is indeed OK with them before giving you access to their services!
Fill in details (Email, Name, Password) and click 'Continue'.
Enter your email address. This is where you'll receive confirmation emails from AWS, so make sure that this is a valid email address that you check regularly.
Enter a name for your account. This is optional, but helpful if you'd like something to call attention to yourself when logging in or out of the system (e.g., “My Awesome Account”). It's also good practice to include something about yourself, as it may help other users recognize who they're dealing with and what kind of person they're dealing with! If none of these apply, just leave this field blank—we won't mind!
Enter your phone number and an SMS will be sent to this number to verify the same.

You can use any phone number you want, but you need to keep it for future interactions with AWS.
Once verified, click 'Call me now'. This number will act as your support number for all future interactions with AWS.

Key in the received PIN code to verify.
The PIN code is case-sensitive and must be entered correctly. Do not use the same PIN for multiple accounts, as this could cause issues when attempting to log in.
After entering your first AWS account information, you will receive an SMS message containing your PIN code. The pin code expires after 5 minutes of inactivity on your phone, so make sure that you don't leave it idle for too long, or else someone else might be able to access your account!

This is where you'll also be prompted to create a new password, which we recommend you do as soon as possible since it's very important that your account remains secure!
